POSA Back to School Program
At the heart of the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association (POSA) lies a commitment to the educational success and well-being of our community's youth. Our Back to School Program is more than just an annual event; it's a lifeline to over 6,500 low-income students in the Scottsdale Unified School District.
Collaboration is the cornerstone of this program, uniting city, school, non-profits, and businesses in a shared goal to equip K-12 income-eligible students with essential school supplies, clothing, and footwear. Last year alone, we reached 918 students, providing them with critical educational tools.
A key feature of our program is ensuring each child starts the school year on the right foot - literally. This is where our challenge and your opportunity to make an impact come into play. POSA needs to raise $25,000 by June 15, 2024, to provide new Skechers shoes to these deserving students.
